I would like to introduce you to one of the MDMC16 speakers, Agata Dec. She is the Head of Analytics Project Management at Brandwatch, the world’s leading enterprise social intelligence company, whose technology allows users to analyze and utilize conversations from across the social web.
At Brandwatch, Agata works with global brands and marketing agencies to link social media data to broader marketing, business and digital strategy. In the past two years she has been at Brandwatch, she also wrote and published on the Brandwatch Blog, for instance about the “DOs and DON’Ts in Social Media Analytics”, looking for the larger picture in social media conservations and expressing her passion for marketing.
Besides her function at Brandwatch, she is also an adjunct lecturer at New York University, teaching a Social Media Analytics course. Agata enjoys meaningful data, efficiency, making a difference, the idea of “so what?” and bad puns and strongly believes in the following three principles:
#1: Comfort is the enemy of achievement.
#2: If there is anything certain it is that words do not have meanings. People do.
#3: If you’re the smartest person in the room, you’re in the wrong room.
